SP45

Standard Interior Roller Blinds

Roller blinds are by far the most popular blind in use today. They are advanced, versatile, sophisticated and provide a design-oriented practical solution suited to our modern living habitats and workspaces. With an extensive range of fabrics to choose from, a variety of systems have been developed to suit different needs, requirements, and applications.

  • Standard size SP45 refers to the 43/44/49mm aluminium roller size for blinds.
  • SP45 rollers can be used in windows up to 3.8 metres high, depending on the width and weight of the blind.
  • If the window height is 4 metres or above you will require the SP60 or SP80 roller. At that point, you will need to adhere to the fixing structure and minimum recesses criteria and consider Automation as opposed to manual chain operation. See SP60/80 Heavy Duty Roller Blind.

Please contact an SP Blinds Representative in your area to discuss further.

SP45 Upgrades

We have different blind upgrades for double blinds, day/night blinds, wider spans, angle wall, controlled stability, light blockout, and to conceal hardware etc.

SP45 Duo Blinds

The Duo Blind system integrates sunscreen and blockout fabrics on one window. This enables you to combine the sun protection and outward visibility qualities of the sunscreen, with the thermal, blockout, and privacy qualities of a blockout fabric.

A specially designed double bracket, provide an easy tool for the installation of these two sets, especially in situations where the window frame is not deep enough to allow two sets of individual blind brackets.

The SP45 Duo roller blinds can be operated by Chain or Automation.

SP45 Linked Blinds

The Acmeda Easy-Link system allows multiple blinds to be controlled by one chain control or motorised system. This provides a solution to the common problem of chains hanging in the middle of large openings such as bi-fold or sliding doors.

The advantages of the system are:

  • Minimal gap between blinds
  • Reduced number of chains or motors required
  • Bearing ensures a quiet & smooth operation

The Easy-Link system can also work in conjunction with the Duo Bracket, as part of the Duo Blinds system, allowing two sets of blinds to be linked together in pairs.

The SP45 Linked roller blinds can be operated by Chain or SP45 Automation.

SP45 Angle Linked Blinds

The Acmeda Uni-Joint system allows multiple angled roller blinds to be installed while maintaining a single motor or chain control operation. Achieving angles ranging from 0-90 degrees while ensuring light gaps are kept to a minimum.

The advantages of the system are:

  • Single operation for multiple angled blinds
  • Two sizes of differing angles(45° & 90°) to ensure light gaps are minimized
  • Chrome steel Universal bearings ensure a smooth operation
  • Blinds can be installed independently of brackets
  • Individual blind level adjustment can be achieved after installation without disassembly
SP45 Mocked Blinds

The Acmeda Easy-Link system also allows banded blinds to be chain or motorised controlled independently on each side by a standard End/Idler Plug adapter. This provides a solution to the lifting capacity issue of linked heavy blinds. The advantages of the system are:

  • Minimal gap between blinds
  • Increasing the lifting capacity of linked blinds
  • Bearing ensures a quiet & smooth operation

The SP45 mocked blinds system can also work in conjunction with the Duo Bracket, as part of the Duo Blinds system, allowing two sets of blinds to be mocked together in pairs.
