Roman Blinds

We’ve taken the classic roman blind into the 21st century with a new generation of contemporary styles – each expressing the same warmth and elegance that made the original roman blind so popular.

A smart and modern version of the traditional roman blind. This style features a sewless technique, using slim anodised aluminium battens to create the folds. The battens can be used on the back of the blind, so they are unseen, or as a feature on the front of the blind. This not only creates a sleek modern look, but the battens also provide extremely good fabric support.

This technique is especially important in wide blinds where it helps to keep the blind looking its best even after years of operation.

The batten system creates a true blockout effect, as the sewless technique eliminates the creation of pin holes in the fabric.

The distinctive feature of the Zen roman blind is its half-round wooden battens on the front and back of the blind. The combination of fabric and wood creates a natural, soft, calm appearance with a distinctive designer style that is enhanced by the strong lines of the battens. The wooden battens are available in a selection of stain finishes to complement individual interiors.
